In the evening, Grandma and Grandpa took some pictures of me with the new dolly they got me. I'm really going to miss them when we go home tomorrow.
My name is Maggie Lynn and I'm a mischievously adorable 3 year old preschooler. I live with my Mommy, Daddy, my baby sister Marin Leigh (who's 1), our Labradors, Bear (Brown) and Milhouse (Yellow) and my lovey, Giraffe.

Hawaii - Day Five
Today was our last full day visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Hawaii. We went to Grandpa's office so he could show me off to all of his friends, then Grandma took Mommy and me to meet her very good friend, Judi. She's an amazing woman and I'm glad I got to meet her.

Hawaii - Day Three
Today started off a little slow, Mommy and I spent some time playing with my rattle, which I loved. But in the afternoon, we got to go to the Honolulu Zoo!
OK, so I slept most of the time. But I did see some elephants and even watched the chimpanzees get into a bit of a fight. That was scary! But I got over it quickly enough to play my very first game of peek-a-boo with Mommy at the lemonade stand! I smiled so much!
After dinner, Grandma bought me my first pair of sunglasses. I look really cool in them, don't you think?

Hawaii - Day Two
I went to the beach and got dipped into the Pacific Ocean today! I still have kind of mixed feelings about the ocean, at first it was kind of cold, but then I got used to it. Grandpa did a very good job of holding me and protecting me from the waves, and my pacifier was very comforting as well.
Unfortunately, I lost my pacifier to the great Pacific. And contrary to popular belief (at least it's what Mommy thought), pacifiers DON'T float.
Overall, a wonderful day!

Hawaii - Day One
Today was a huge day for me, my very first plane ride! Mommy was a bit nervous at how I would handle it (I don't see why, I'm a very good baby) and I surprised her by being absolutely perfect. I had no problem handling the change in air pressure during take-off and landing, and I pretty much slept the whole trip to Hawaii!
Here are some pictures of me going through security at SeaTac Airport and of me sleeping in my seat on the plane. We were lucky to have three whole seats to ourselves.
Hawaii is a really neat place ~ I don't have to wear nearly as many clothes as I have to at home, it's so warm here! Grandma and Grandpa are very excited to see me. We're going to rest tonight, but tomorrow we're going to start having all sorts of fun!

Caught!
Well, in a moment of weakness, I finally let Mommy catch
a good smile on the camera. See, up until now I've been
playing hard to get. But I've been so excited about our
upcoming trip to Hawaii that I couldn't help but smile!

Do You Think I’m Chubby?
Mommy and Daddy gave me a bath last night but this time they added this yellow squishy thing so that I wouldn't squirm around or anything. Wet babies are VERY slippery and squirmy. It works great and Mommy thinks it may well be the best $5 she's ever spent. On the other hand, she says that for all of the things they have for me that keep me sweet and content (read: not screaming).
So Daddy took this picture and thinks that I'm starting to look a little chubby in the body. I maintain that it's my positioning in the bathtub. And that I just ate. Chubby wouldn't be so bad though, it would mean I'm gaining weight faster!
Did you notice how I strategically placed my foot to cover my privates? I'm so talented!

Watch Me Grow!
I've very recently started growing out of some of my clothes, mostly in the length but not quite the body yet. To determine what doesn't fit, Mommy changes my outfits a lot. She was shocked when she put this newborn-sized onesie on me that I wore when I first came home.
So Mommy found a picture of me when I wore it for the first time ~ it was super-baggy on me! Now today it fits me perfectly! I'm still little, but I've already grown so much!
I have very exciting new to report! In two weeks, Mommy is taking me to Hawaii to visit Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Woodie! Mommy is slightly nervous that I'll be "difficult" during the flights, but who knows how I'll feel. You know how much I love to keep Mommy and Daddy on their toes!

I'm 8 Weeks Old!!!
Today was a pretty big day for me, I turned eight weeks old and had a big doctor appointment to make sure that I'm healthy and happy. And of course, I am! I weighed in at 9lb. 1oz. and I'm 21.5" long! No wonder I'm growing out of my newborn clothes, I'm three whole inches longer than I was when I was born!
Although the visit with the doctor was great, what came afterwards was not. I had to get my first set of immunization shots, two in my right thigh and one in my left. It was HORRIBLE. There I was, snuggled against Mommy and sound asleep, then the next thing I know someone is poking me with something super-sharp, so I started screaming and crying. Mommy cried too. I recovered pretty quickly but have been very sleepy all evening. Maybe I'll stay awake all night!
Mommy and Daddy love it when I do that!
