BIG NEWS! I'm Going To Be A Big Sister!

This was actually one of my Christmas presents that Mommy & Daddy gave me, but they wanted me to wait a little bit before I let you all know - I'M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER! We won't know for awhile yet if it's a little brother or sister (as long as it's a giraffe) but I'll let you know as soon as I find out! I've got Mommy & Daddy to myself for a bit longer, apparently my new sibling will be here around the end of August/ beginning of September.

Between you and me, I'm going to go start putting my name on my toys just so there's no confusion later on.

New Year & New Firsts

I guess we're not the only ones falling behind in blogging. It was all right when it was friends and family that were slacking, but now that everyone's been updating, it's time for me to do so as well!

The Holidays were a busy and snowy time, I loved it that Mommy & Daddy got to stay home so much to play with me. I thought wandering around in the snow was so much fun. I like to wander. Whenever I go outside, I make sure to carefully analyze the yard. Not quite sure what's all out there, you know...





































Clearly the pictures and video were taken quite some time ago... also Mommy grabbed the closest clothes else I have a tantrum.

Yes, I'm definitely getting my own opinions on what I want to do, who I want to do it with and exactly who is calling the shots in this home. I want to touch and play with everything including my favorites: the 'D' section of the DVD shelves (If Mommy & Daddy would just let me watch Dave, this wouldn't be a problem.), car keys (I know the difference between real ones and fake ones, guys) remote controls, cell phones and something called a 'calculator' (ok, I confess. I'm not sure what this is. I talk on it and punch numbers into it but it doesn't really do anything. ). Ooohhh... I love my new building blocks from Germany, but I love the container they came in even more!

Above all else I'm learning and growing quickly. I'm trying to learn how to put on clothes. Last night, for the first time at dinner, I succeeded in spearing a ravioli with a fork and getting it all the way into my mouth!! It really is the little things, folks.

That's about all I can come up with for right now. I've been feeling inspired lately, so just maybe you'll hear from me more often. I've got to go, I want to relax a little before dinner.
