A Very Special Present

A couple of weeks ago we had a visit from some old family friends of Mommy's. Rob & Sue are close with Oma Debbie & Opa Woodie and have known Mommy since she was very little. They brought me (& Mommy) a very special present ~ the tricycle that Mommy used when she was a little girl! It's been used by Mommy, all three of Rob & Sue's children, and another one of their family members. Rob totally refinished it, complete with a new front tire and pedals (and brought the old worn-out one for us to see) and now it's mine to ride! He wrote all of the names of the kids who have used it on the underside of the foot stand to commemorate its' 30+ years of service. My name goes next.

My legs aren't long enough for my feet to touch the pedals yet, but I sure do love climbing up on it and having Mommy or Daddy push me around! Isn't it cool!?

Thinking Inside The Box

I currently enjoy shoving my whole body into small spaces. I've recently discovered that my favorite places are my toy box, my stepping stool (that doubles as storage) and any type of cardboard box. Sometimes all the effort leaves me very tired.
