Happy (Late) Valentines Day ~ I'm Six Months Old!

Hi everyone! Maggie is such a blog-hog (even though she's not been posting anything), so I thought I would try to get another post in while I could. Don't get me wrong, I ADORE my big sister. I love to stand in my exersaucer or jumperoo and chew on anything I can put into my mouth all the while drooling like a fool and watching whatever Maggie does. She's quite fascinating and she really talks a lot. She's starting to notice me a bit more, sometimes she comes over to where I'm playing and shows me how to work a toy or two which makes me giggle hysterically. Sometimes, she just comes over to steal attention away from me (she gets a little jealous sometimes). But whenever Maggie is laughing, you can be sure that I am too!

I'm getting pretty big and am better and better at rolling over~ just a bit longer and I'll be rolling everywhere! I'm very giggly, happy and talkative, but just to keep things even, I am a terrible sleeper. When Mommy was pregnant with me she always said that I was so active that I would never sleep once I arrived - I don't know why she's so surprised, after hearing that for so many months I thought it was what she WANTED!

I started on solid foods on Christmas Day. So far I really like sweet potatoes and rice cereal. Carrots and applesauce are ok, but not as good as sweet potatoes! I think next week Mommy might try a green vegetable, but we'll see. Although I don't quite understand what he means, Daddy says that Maggie is kind of like the Mafia when it comes to food ~ she's always got to have her cut of whatever anyone is eating. Sometimes even my bottle and even my mushy food.

Bear really likes me and I think we're becoming pretty good pals. He loves to give me kisses and he definitely prefers me to Maggie. Milhouse is much more of a Maggie-dog even though she can be kind of mean to him. She doesn't pull his tail or poke him or anything, she just shuts him out of things. Personally, I don't think that's very fair, because he's so loyal to her.

Ooooooh.... I'm getting my first tooth! Mommy & Daddy were pretty sure I was starting to teethe, but wouldn't you know it - first thing on my six-month birthday they could feel the little bugger poking through! Of course I don't like to open my mouth so anyone can actually see the rising tooth, but I'm sure I'll be showing it off before long! In the meantime, here are some recent pictures of me doing things I like to do ~ smile, eat & be cute (and awake)!
